Terms of Service

By accessing or using Vixie ("the Service"), operated by Vectai Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Vixie is a platform for photo magnet businesses to manage customer ordering, print production, and payments at markets, events, and online. The Service includes:

• Self-serve QR code ordering for customers at events.
• A print studio and automated print queue for creating magnet print sheets.
• Order management and status tracking.
• Payment processing via third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal, Square).
• Shopify integration for online sales.
• A free public Print Studio tool available without an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful content.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.

You retain ownership of all photos and content uploaded to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service (e.g., generating print sheets, displaying order previews). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

Payments between you and your customers are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not handle or store payment card information. You are responsible for any fees charged by payment providers. Vixie's own service fees, if any, will be communicated clearly before you incur them.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, and Square. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective terms of service and privacy policies of those platforms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will notify you by email of planned downtime when possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vixie and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You will have 30 days after account closure to request a data export.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the application. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
